Sapjah Zapotitla: 2025 New Jersey Governor's STEM Scholar

We are thrilled to share that Sapjah Zapotitla, a former SEAHLab research assistant, has been named a 2025 New Jersey Governor's STEM Scholar!

Sapjah, a junior psychology major, is also pursuing minors in sociology and the psychology of sports and exercise, along with a certificate in social justice and social change. As part of this prestigious program, she is mentoring high school students in original research projects and engaging with STEM professionals across New Jersey. Congratulations, Sapjah!
